These Website Terms of Use govern your access to moships.com and its quote-request and informational features. By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.
These terms govern the website only. Transportation services are governed by the applicable written quote, rate confirmation, bill of lading, operating-partner agreement, carrier agreement, or other transaction document. If those documents conflict with these terms concerning a shipment, the transaction documents control.
1. Mo Ships' role
Mo Ships provides customer-facing freight coordination and administrative support. Mo Ships does not own or operate trucks, aircraft, or vessels. Transportation may be arranged or provided through a contracted operating partner and third-party carriers.
The applicable operating partner, transportation provider, authority, and transaction terms should be identified in the written documents supplied for an accepted shipment. Website descriptions do not grant Mo Ships operating authority or replace the authority, bond, insurance, or contractual obligations of the entity identified in those documents.
2. Website information
We try to keep website information accurate and current, but service descriptions, coverage areas, equipment availability, transit estimates, regulatory information, and third-party details may change. Website content is general information and is not professional, legal, customs, insurance, safety, or regulatory advice.
3. Quote requests are not bookings
Submitting a quote request does not create a transportation contract, reserve capacity, or guarantee a rate, pickup, delivery date, equipment type, or carrier assignment.
A shipment is accepted only when an authorized party provides written confirmation and all required commercial and transportation documents are completed. A quoted rate may change when shipment details are incomplete or inaccurate, capacity changes, or additional services or charges apply.
4. Your responsibilities
You agree to provide complete and accurate information, including the commodity, value, quantity, weight, dimensions, origin, destination, dates, equipment needs, and special-handling requirements. You must disclose hazardous, regulated, restricted, temperature-sensitive, high-value, or controlled goods before acceptance and provide all required documentation.
You are responsible for confirming that you have authority to request services and share any personal, company, shipment, or consignee information you submit.
5. Tracking and communications
Shipment milestones may be made available through the operating partner's I-Tracker platform, email, telephone, or other approved channels. Tracking data and estimated arrival times are informational and may be delayed, incomplete, or affected by third-party systems and real-world conditions.
6. Fraud prevention
Official Mo Ships website communications use the moships.com domain. Verify unusual payment instructions, banking changes, identity requests, or urgent shipment changes through a known contact before acting.
Report suspicious messages to hello@moships.com with the subject “Suspected Fraud.” Do not send passwords or banking credentials by email.
7. Acceptable use
You may not interfere with the website, probe for vulnerabilities, bypass access controls, introduce harmful code, overload the service, impersonate another party, submit fraudulent requests, or use the website unlawfully. We may restrict access, reject submissions, or cooperate with authorities when we reasonably believe the website is being misused.
8. Third-party services and links
The website may reference I-Tracker, an operating partner, carriers, regulators, or other third-party services. Those services are controlled by their providers and may have separate terms and privacy policies.
9. Intellectual property
The website, Mo Ships name and logos, text, graphics, and other original content are owned by or licensed to Mo Ships and protected by applicable laws. You may view and print reasonable portions for internal business evaluation, but may not commercially exploit the content without written permission.
10. Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website is provided “as is” and “as available.” Mo Ships disclaims warranties concerning the website's uninterrupted operation, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. This does not replace obligations stated in applicable transportation documents or imposed by law.
11. Limitation of website liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mo Ships will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential loss arising solely from use of, or inability to use, the website. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Shipment claims are governed by applicable transportation documents and law.
12. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information submitted through the website and is incorporated into these terms by reference.
13. Changes
We may update the website or these terms. Revised terms become effective when posted with a new effective date and do not retroactively amend accepted transaction documents unless the parties expressly agree.
